WILDLIFE HOTLINE 541-615-1565
We save lives
Mountain Top Wildlife provides free medical care for all wild animals who are found sick, injured, or orphaned. Our medical care includes emergency triage, diagnostic work (such as x-rays), surgery and suturing, orthopedic treatments, physiotherapy, medicating, hand rearing and feeding, and providing mental enrichment for patients. Patients are treated with the explicit goal to be released back to the wild.
Mountain Top also works to improve relationships between humans, domesticated pets, and wildlife. In 2023, 87% of Mountain Top’s patients were admitted because of human or pet interactions. Along with medical care for our wild friends, we provide educational opportunities for our human friends to learn strategies for peaceful cohabitation.
